Description
The practical exhortation which is contained in these words is as obvious as it is solemn: “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest”. God, who has assigned to each of us his work, and who has entrusted to each gifts and opportunities, has also fixed the length of time during which the task has to be performed, and the stewardship to be exercised.
